National Academy of Medicine Publishes Public Health 3.0 Discussion Paper

This week, the National Academy of Medicine released a paper entitled Public Health 3.0: A Call to Action for Public Health to Meet the Challenges of the 21st Century. Authored by several leading public health scholars and former government officials, the paper makes the case for the Public Health 3.0 model in which leaders serve as ‘Chief Health Strategists’, partnering across various sectors and leveraging data and resources to address social, environmental, and economic conditions that impact health and health equity.
