HHS Announces COVID-19 Provider Funding Availability

This week, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the availability of over $25 billion in new funding available for ethe health care providers affected by the COID-19 pandemic. The funding includes $8.5 billion in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for providers serving rural Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), or Medicare patients with an additional $17 billion for Provider Relief Fund (PRF) Phase Four for a broad range of providers who can document a revenue loss and expenses associated with the pandemic.
