Governor’s May Revise Released

Yesterday, Governor Brown released the 2017-18 May Revision, which despite an additional $2.5 billion in revenues, continues to mirror the Governor’s fiscal prudence and restraint. The budget advances several priorities including:

  • Increased funding for schools;
  • A restoration of child provider rate increases;
  • Reduced pension liabilities; and
  • Mitigation of the adverse county impacts resulting from the termination of the CCI and IHSS cost-shift to counties.
