Safe Routes to School National Partnership

The Safe Routes to School National Partnership is looking to assist in efforts to make communities a place where kids can easily be active and healthy. They will be offering 160 hours of long-term, free, technical assistance to five communities in California to help them plan and prepare to apply to the State’s Active Transportation Program grants or other regional and state funding sources that support Safe Routes to School projects.

To qualify, a community must not have previously received ATP funding for this project. Please see the 2017 ATP Guidelines for more information on eligibility. Applications can be accessed here and are due by 5:00 pm on Monday, February 27, 2017. If you have questions during the application process, please email Bill Sadler, California Senior Policy Manager at bill@saferoutespartnership.org.
