WPC Pilot Profiles Now Available Online

CHEAC, along with our partners at the California Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems/Safety Net Institute (CAPH/SNI), recently developed individual profiles of the Whole Person Care (WPC) Pilots throughout the state. These profiles feature the innovative approaches of the WPC Pilots in coordinating health, behavioral health, and social services in a patient-centered manner with the goals of improved patient health and wellbeing and improved efficiency and effectiveness of delivery and use of resources.

Recall, WPC Pilots were created as part of Section 1115 Medicaid Waiver (Medi-Cal 2020). The waiver made available funding to improve care for a subset of complex Medi-Cal beneficiaries and 25 WPC Pilots were selected by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) through a competitive application process.
