Both areas are essential to ensure the delivery of quality local public health services that address the unique priorities and needs of each jurisdiction. The content is designed to
encompass 1) local governing and policy dynamics, varying local health jurisdiction organizational structures, roles and responsibilities, and 2) the navigation of state and local relationships across state agencies, boards of supervisors and city councils, other local departments and agencies, community-based partners, health care delivery systems, and the community at large.
