This course is designed to increase financial literacy and competence in public health leaders and managers to effectively plan, manage and evaluate local health jurisdiction budgets, optimizing resources to address local priorities and ensure the ongoing delivery of quality governmental public health services. The content is designed specifically for the public health workforce and goes beyond general accounting or healthcare finance topics, with a focus on public financing as it relates to the effective delivery of local public health services in California.

  • Substitutions: May be made with a 48-hour notice prior to the training start date. The substituted registrant must have an account in the CHEAC Training Center. Email admin@cheac.org with your substitution request.
